Merilampi represented Sweco AB before the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) in merger control proceedings related to Sweco’s acquisition of NRC Group’s rail infrastructure engineering and consulting services business. The FCCA approved the acquisition unconditionally.
With this acquisition, Sweco becomes a leading railway design expert in Northern Europe and reinforces its position in Finland and Sweden. The acquisition brings 320 new railway design experts to Sweco, located in Finland and Sweden.
