Merilampi advised Kesko in acquiring a majority shareholding that grants control over the Tikkuri shopping center, located near the Tikkurila railway station in Vantaa. According to preliminary plans, the area is intended to be developed in collaboration with partners into a comprehensive complex that could include, in addition to a hypermarket, other retail spaces, restaurants, office premises, a hotel, residential units, and a parking facility.

The project is part of a program in which Kesko will significantly invest in strengthening its hypermarket network in the growth centers of Helsinki, Espoo, and Vantaa over the coming years.
