Merilampi represented Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company in its acquisition of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s share of the shopping centre Jumbo in Vantaa. Elo and its predecessor companies have been investors in Jumbo since its construction, and following the transaction, Elo owns the whole shopping centre excluding the hypermarket spaces.
Jumbo is the largest shopping centre in Finland, and it comprises 85 000 sqm of lettable area. The value of the transaction is over EUR 200 million.
