Merilampi acted as Finnish counsel to Ziff Davis LLC and its subsidiary Ookla LLC in Ookla’s purchase of all shares of Ekahau, Inc.
Ziff Davis LLC is a global digital media enterprise, and Ookla LLC – the subsidiary of Ziff Davis – is a global leader in fixed broadband and mobile network testing applications, data and analysis. One of Ookla’s most notable products is Speedtest®. Ziff Davis LLC and Ookla LLC are part of the J2Global Group.
Ekahau, Inc. was founded in Finland and focuses on designing and developing wireless network software. Its headquarters are located in the United States of America and some functions are carried out in Helsinki.
