Merilampi represented the German investment company Union Investment Real Estate GmbH in its acquisition of an office property in the Wood City office block in Jätkäsaari. An eight-story wooden office building will be built on the property and leased entirely to the IT security company WithSecure. The construction work will begin in the summer of 2022 and the new premises are scheduled to be completed in 2024.
The total purchase price is approximately EUR 58 million. The office building will finalize the Wood City block in Jätkäsaari, where the headquarters of Supercell, two residential buildings and a parking garage are located. The aim is to build the office building in an environmentally friendly way by minimizing energy and material emissions. It is expected to achieve LEED Platinum certification for the building.
