We act as counsel for prominent Finnish gaming company Supercell Oy in their purchase from SRV Rakennus Oy of an office building and parking facility to be located in so-called Wood City quarter of the Jätkäsaari district of Helsinki. The parties signed a purchase agreement on 6 October 2017, and final contracts are expected to be signed in the first quarter of 2018.
Construction works of the project will take place between 2018 and 2020. The future headquarters of Supercell are fascinating in terms of architectural and structural design, as the office building will be first of its kind in using an entirely wooden frame. The wooden frame is delivered by Stora Enso.
