Tapio Väätäinen

Tapio Väätäinen has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, as well as in arbitration. He also represents our clients in proceedings before other authorities. Beyond the above-mentioned areas of law, Tapio´s expertise covers insolvency issues, labour law and matters related to intellectual property rights, particularly to trademarks and copyrights, as well as tort and contract law. Tapio acts as the Chairman of the joint Audit Committee of Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce and Häme Chamber of Commerce during the period 2013 – 2015. Tapio has also been a member of Law and Tax Committee of Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce during 2001 – 2012. He is a member of the Finnish Intellectual Property Rights Association, the Finnish Arbitration Association and the Finnish Competition Law Association.
